Brewed a cup this morning and the volcano-grown origin really comes through — smooth, with a clean finish that surprised me for a decaf. Knowing it’s from small local growers in Nariño makes the morning ritual feel that much better.

I wasn’t expecting a decaf to keep this much character, but the Caturra beans from the Galeras slopes give it a smooth, rounded cup that tastes like a real coffee, not a compromise. It’s become my go-to for late afternoons when I still want that ritual without the buzz.

The volcanic soil really comes through in the cup—smooth and rich with a hint of earthiness that I’ve never found in other decafs. I’ve been brewing it as my afternoon espresso and it holds up beautifully without that flat, watery finish.
